Booking Conditions and General Information

The contract is between the Hirer and the Owners of Tremle.

Authority to sign

The person signing the booking form certifies that he/she is authorised to agree to the Booking Conditions on behalf of all the persons included on the Booking form. The signatory must be a member of the party for whom the booking is being made and must be 21 years of age or over. We are unable to accept bookings for parties under the age of 21.

Payment

Bookings are to be accompanied by a deposit of 1/3rd of the rent; this deposit is non-refundable. The balance of the rental amount must be paid 56 days (8 weeks) before the commencement of the rental period and this will be invoiced. Non payment of the balance of the rent on or before the due date shall be construed as a cancellation of the contract by the Hirer. The full rent is payable if the booking is made less than 56 days (8 weeks) before the commencement of the holiday period.

Security Deposit

The Owners require a £300 refundable security deposit which shall be returned as soon as confirmation has been received that no damage has occurred. Whilst we understand that accidents do happen the occasional incident has resulted in this deposit being necessary. However in nearly all booking this has been refunded in full.

Hirer's Obligation

The hirer agrees:

To take all reasonable and proper care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the tenancy. Particular attention must be given to the kitchen, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are left clean and tidy. The Hirer is responsible for any additional cleaning costs incurred.

To permit the Owners reasonable access to the Property to carry out any urgent maintenance.

Not to exceed the maximum number of 10 persons allowed to stay at the property. (Owners reserve the right to terminate the rental period with out notice and without refund in case of a breach of this condition).

Pets Welcome

A maximum of 2 pets is welcomed but the pet owners are responsible for any extra cleaning that may be required, either inside the property or the grounds.

Pets MUST NOT under any circumstances be allowed on any soft furnishings or beds.

Prior consent must be agreed with the property Owners for more than 2 pets.

Pets MUST NOT cause any annoyance, become a nuisance or intimidate occupants of neighbouring properties.

Failure to clean up in the grounds after pets may result in a charge.

Cancellation

Should the Hirer wish to cancel the booking, he should immediately advise the owners by telephone, followed by a confirmatory letter. Upon receipt of such a letter the Owners shall (but without any obligation to the Hirer) try their best to obtain a replacement letting and, if such a replacement is secured, will then refund the Hirer any monies paid less a handling charge. If the owners are unable to re-let, they shall be entitled to retain all payments already made and to recover, if not already paid, the balance of the hiring charge.

Non-availability of Property

If for reasons beyond the Owners control, the property is not available on the date booked, all rent paid in advance will be refunded in full. The Hirer shall have no further claims against the Owner.

Safety

It is the Hirer's responsibility (particularly parents with young children) to inspect the property and grounds upon arrival and note any possible hazards.

Arrival and Departure Times

The property is available from 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure please.

Bed Linen

The Owners provide bed linen and bath towels.

Baby Cot

Please note that the Owners DO NOT provide a baby cot, there is a high chair and a stair gate.

Christmas and New Year weeks

The Owners provide a complimentary Christmas tree and some decorations.

Complaints

Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday. If however, you have any cause for complaint we are anxious that remedial action may be taken as soon as possible. It is essential that you contact the owners or caretaker immediately if any problems arise so that it may be rectified as soon as possible. Discussion with the Owners or caretaker whilst you are in residence usually enables any shortcomings to be rectified straight away.

The property has been inspected by The Welsh Tourist Board, has complied with their requirements and been awarded 5 stars.
